website Design update:
Bring a higher conversion rate of sales by updating the outdated homepage and add new support pages that reduce the number of customer support calls
Etekcity is an e-commerce retailer serving customers in home improvement, consumer electronics, and outdoor equipment. Etekcity's main platform of sale is Amazon but as the company is getting bigger, the company wanted to lead more customers to its website and convince them to buy products on the company's website.
With collaboration with a UX researcher, I designed the UI and UX of its homepage and support pages for smart products.
Finding the solution to make visiting customers to trust the website and convert that to customers to revisit the site was the goal of this project and it was used to define the specifications. The UX researcher and I focused on 1) understanding our customers and their needs, 2) eliminating fear and intimidation, and 3) minimizing default rates.
We ran three iterations, arriving at an elegantly simple single-card, single-action dashboard. Icon and illustrations are original content by me. This project was very important to me and I had a lot of fun with it—Hope you enjoy it!
